Abdominal Cuts leans very heavily on CLA. CLA is a great weight loss product but there are several other products widely available that make use of the same ingredient along with a number of other proven weight loss aids. If CLA is the only thing that makes this product effective, it might make more sense to purchase CLA tablets, although the packaging isn’t nearly as cool, and save yourself some money.

The other main ingredient is a derivative from the sesame seed called Sesamin. I personally like this product but there is little to no hard data supporting its weight loss benefits.

I don’t want to make fun of the packaging, it really is cool, but I know all of you who come here looking for honest research want more than pretty pink pills. The ingredients in Women’s Abdominal cuts have been shown to help users burn fat. You can also expect promotion of lean muscle tissue and even a reduction of sugar cravings. It also comes in a gel tab which has become very popular recently.

Drawbacks

The main drawback I found was the lack of any real evidence this product was more effective for women. Women and men really do differ widely in our weight loss challenges. It takes more than a pink pill to make something more effective for women.

This is a good product, which means it would be a good product for women. The problem is there isn’t anything that makes it specifically good for women. The claims of weight loss can be backed up by research but there are more effective blends more widely available. What You Should know

Every once in a while I come across a product that really surprises me. Most of the time that’s a good thing but in the case of Fastin, I’m surprised this stuff is even available.

Fastin was originally produced by prescription drug powerhouse Smith Kline Beechum as a doctor prescribed diet aid. The main appetite suppressing agent, phentermine, was subsequently proven dangerous to users and pulled from the market. Like Ephedra and Fen-Phen, phentermine was very effective but highly dangerous.

The name Fastin was sold off to another company that “reformulated” Fastin without phentermine and sold it as a safe, over-the-counter version of the original. Even though the new pill had little to nothing in common with its prescription ancestor, Fastin was marketed as essentially the same product.

Does Fastin Work?

The answer to that question is somewhat debatable. The reason I can’t say for sure is Fastin uses a proprietary blend – always a red flag – of ingredients that lack sufficient clinical research. Products like Phenylethylamine have been reported to affect hormone levels and mood but there is yet to be any association to weight loss.

Possible Benefits

Fastin does contain a few interesting ingredients, like synephrine, that have some research backing up their effect on weight loss. Synephrine is a stimulant which is still under review but it has gained popularity recently as an alternative to ephedrine. Fastin also contains theobromine, a bitter alkaloid of the cacao plant, which can act as a stimulant to boost metabolic functions, which may help the body burn more calories.

Downsides

I think the biggest problem with Fastin is less the product itself, more on that in a minute, and more about the company. I’m not going to say they have done anything specifically unethical or illegal, I don’t think the lawyers would like that, but certainly a little misleading. First of all Fastin is not the effective product is was when it was marketed by Smith Kline Beechum. It’s not even a low dose over-the-counter version; it’s a completely different product. Reading the ingredient list for Fastin makes me feel like a need a chemical engineering degree. N-Methyl-phenylethylamine HCL, methylsynephrine HCL, methylphenylethylamine tartrate, R-Beta-Methylphenylethylamine. I can’t even pronounce half of them. I don’t want you to get the idea these are bad or ineffective based on the name, that wouldn’t be very scientific; but, if you are going to be ingesting something, I would feel more comfortable if there was at least one thing that came from nature.

Conclusion

Products like this always make me a little wary. Most of the time I can simply consider weather or not they work, but in this case I have to seriously determine if I trust it enough to even try it. On top of that, the ingredients in Fastin don’t meet some basic standards of clinical testing and research. I think it would be easy to find an effective diet pill without quite so many problems.

We all want better looking abs, at least most of us do. It is one of the hardest areas to target which has given rise to hundreds of products claiming to target and melt away belly fat.

Fabdominal is a topical cream that claims to target and melt away belly fat when applied to the midsection. On the surface that claim makes sense but unfortunately the body just doesn’t burn fat that way. You can indeed target the oxidation (burning) of fat but not in the way this company claims.

The Only Real Solution

The human body is as complex an organism that exists; but, in simple terms, your body stores excess energy in the form of fat all over the body. The only way to get rid of that body fat is to burn more calories than you consume, therefore making the body dip into its stored reserves. There are a lot of diet pills that can help you accomplish that but a fat cell in the abdomen is no different than one in your backside. You can always tone specific areas through strength training, but fat is lost and gained incrementally throughout the body.

Benefits

The main ingredients in Fabdominal are Guarana and bitter orange extract. Guarana does help boost energy but does little to actually burn fore calories. Bitter orange extract is a great ingredient that is widely used in a number of diet pills that have been shown to positively affect a person’s ability to burn fat.

Drawbacks

I think the main downside to this product is the delivery system. A topical cream must be absorbed through the skin in order to have any effect on your body. The amount you apply and the size of the surface over which you apply it all affect how much of the active ingredients actually make it into the body.

As I mentioned before, the overall flawed theory of targeting a certain area of fat cells is another problem with this product. I wish it were possible to target an area with a topical cream but it just doesn’t work that way. While the active ingredients in this product may help to reduce fat, there is no evidence that it will be especially effective in the targeted area.

Bottom Line

If I have been a harsher on this product than some others I’ve reviewed it is only because I think the company may be trying to take advantage of innocent consumer ignorance. That may not have been their intention but marketing a product they should know as well as any will not work is a little suspect. That being said, I do think Fabdominal contains ingredients that can help you loose weight. If you choose to give this product a try I think you could see results, just not quite the results the company claims. If I were to recommend a product I think you would be better served by one that delivered the essential ingredients in more effective manner.

I like to be as objective as possible when I review a product. That usually leads me to all kinds of ambiguous and neutral language until I get to the end. In this case I’m just going to say right up front that this is a pretty good product that you should look at more closely.

The beauty of DecaSlim is in its simplicity, in fact it’s hard to call DecaSlim a diet pill at all since it is simply an optimal concentrate of the 10 “superfoods.” A lot has been made of these foods everywhere from Oprah to the pages of countless exercise magazines.  I am personally a huge advocate of healthy diet and exercise and I really don’t trust gimmicky products so I was really hoping this pill would prove effective.

I don’t think you need to fill your body with all kinds of exotic extracts and stimulants to be healthy and science backs me up on that. Eating a healthy diet gives your body all the vitamins and nutrients it needs for healthy cell function, digestion and metabolism. Since most of us live a fast paced life, with little time or inclination to prepare whole foods, Decaslim provides an easy alternative. The only known side effect of eating healthy food, weather cooked at home or taken as a supplement, seems to be clearer skin. Not bad.

Downside

Not even DecaSlim is a miracle pill. It is imperative that you continue to eat right and exercise in order to maintain general good health. The other thing that makes me stop gushing over this pill for just a minute is the fact that there is little clinical research into the effectiveness of DecaSlim in reducing weight. There are countless testimonials of individuals who saw results in just 7 days but it would help if more studies were done on the specific weight loss properties of the “superfoods.” Of course a million years of human evolution has taught us that eating right tends to lead to good health so this doesn’t trouble me as much as it would in a product trying to tout the effects of a proprietary substance.

Conclusion

I said right up front that I like this product; I don’t think I need to belabor that point any more. Good food leads to good health, proper weight and clear skin. We all know it, we just have a hard time getting all that good stuff in our mouths with all the other demands on our time. For anyone who tends to be busy, this is a good alternative to hours in the kitchen. It’s also a good first step into the diet pill world since it doesn’t contain many of the stimulants on the market that may worry new users.
